Cancer Sucks, so eat your vegetables

Scientists Show How Certain Vegetables Combat Cancer

I sometimes watch "You are what you eat" on BBC America (even though I think the host is a whackadoodle.) For those of you who aren't familiar, they go to someones house, ridicule them for their eating habits, analyze their poop (not kidding) and blood work and determine that all of their problems are caused by a lack of the B vitamins. (Usually, anyway.)

To bring their point home, they lay out what the people ate for a whole week on a table. One of the things that strikes me is that the food is always monochromatic- usually a pale beige color.

Did you know that you are supposed to eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, and that you should choose a serving from each of the color groups?
